Hi Folks hope all Are Well Anyway i came on this post today beaucse i Need To ask some Questions Regauding The Waltons on dvd before i go buy them


1. are the the Full lenngh Versions is thire anythig missing
2, are the shows in good quality meanig sound and Picute
3. are thrie any speaci Featuires on the waltons dvd

the reason why im asking this is if they are sences cut or the dvds are in poor Qualty im not goiing to go get them that why i came to ask someone on here

To answer your questions,
Yes the DVD releases have all the episodes uncut and unedited.
The picture quality is very good, but not perfect. Warner Brothers did not remaster them, so there are occasional scratches and other "specks" on the film. Also night time scenes are usually very dark and hard to see as much as you should. I think the sound quality is fine.
The only thing missing from the episodes is the original "Lorimar" logo at the end of the closing theme song.
Also, there are no extras, which is a shame. Commentary from the cast members and series creator Earl Hamner would make any Walton's fan very happy!
