The reason I ask this is because I wonder if both audience are the same as the Diff'rent Strokes. They all act a little rudely at some point in time, just like the Diff'rent Strokes audience. But I was wondering if those are the same type of audience that they use for two of their shows? I can still remember and I had to laugh because you could hear talking/coughing during a scene when they should been quiet at the beginning. I still remember the "Makeup" episode with Natalie Green's face done and you could still hear little chuckle/comment from the audience members themselves. My favorite part in the Diff'rent Strokes episode is the doll missing episode when the detective whoops a huge photo map and someone female says "Oh, sh**" pretty softly, but you could still hear her say the curse. I just to curious if these are the same type of audience used in Diff'rent Strokes.

yeah, they were. I always thought it added a great element to tape a show before an audience. Sadly the FOL stopped doing this about the 5th season and went to the hated laugh-track. Ugh. Diff'rent Strokes benefited greatly from audince reaction and FOL did too. I love hearing little things from the crowd during the episode or watching the actors have to wait till the noise dies down to continue. Check the 1st Cousin Geri episode for FOL audience participation, they really threw Charlotte Rae off!
