I vote for the Sunshine Cab Co. It was a dump, plus you had to put up with Louie as the boss.

Mel's Diner, it would have been tough to work there with him for a boss.

The 12th Precinct on Barney Miller was a dump, too. The heat or A/C was always broken, the plumbing was lousy and the roof was always on the verge of collapse. I'd live with it as best as I could because I think Barney was the best TV boss. I don't think I'd do well at Sunshine Cab Co. or Mel's Diner, as I wouldn't want either Louie or Mel as my boss!! :p

my first choice would also be the squad room on BARNEY MILLER, and my second choice would be the Sunshine cab co. garage on TAXI.
(but, my brother used to be a cab driver when that show was on; and he said a couple times that that garage was realistic.)

My choice of a worst workplace would be working at a funeral parlour on The Munsters. Gatman & Goodberry Graves. :shudders:

Wellman Plastics on Roseanne seemed lousy. And one we never see, but just imagine: the Brooklyn sewers where Ed Norton works on the Honeymooners.

I think the worst place to work is at the MASH 4077th. You can't see your loved ones, plus you have to deal with bombs, gunfire, bad Army food, ilnesses and obnoxious tentmates. The worst of it all is that you might survive all that only to be killed on the way home.

The second worst place to work would definitely be the Sunshine cab company. It's dirty and smelly. You also have Louie for a boss. (Wait, maybe the 4077th isn't really all that bad...)
