When you have old music files on your computer, as well as CDs and tapes, that you no longer want, how do you get rid of them? For computer files I use a file shredder and listening to the tunes one or two, or sometimes more, times after I've created a CD.
For CDs I use a Marks-A-Lot to black out the flip side and black out the title, and I either put'em in the garbage or I send them to a company that recycles media materials. I really should buy one of those paer shredders taht can destroy credit cards and CDs/DVDs.
If I have a cassette I no longer need, I give it one or two last lessons and then I break opent the case and use scissors to get rid of the tape itself.
