What is up with the following tv shows future releases on dvd? Seems a long time since we had a season released of the following:

Dragnet
Adam-12
The Partridge Family
Barney Miller
Night Court
Green Acres
Petticoat Junction
Beverly Hillbillies
The Bob Newhart Show
Mary Tyler Moore
Too Close For Comfort
Different Strokes
The Muppet Show

Any updated information would be appreciated.

I'd like to add "Taxi" to the list.

As for "Petticoat Junction", I remember reading that MPI only had the rights to release the episodes they released. It's up to another company now. Maybe BCI?

Wow totally even forgot about Green Acres. I think that's been more than a year.... right?

Bob Newhart hopefully is in the works, it's actually been consistant.

I've never understood it myself. I realize the packaging, artwork, etc costs money to produce but these companies are going to get that money back and then some when they release these shows. Why they are keeping them from us fans for so long is beyond me.

Of course I also don't work in the industry, so in no way do I know all the little details and issues involved with releasing new DVDs. There must be some red tape otherwise everything would be out a lot sooner.

Don't forget to add who's the boss? to the list. I'm getting ready to add growing pains but maybe something will happen
