I noticed this last night while watching the Jeffersons. The infamous afghan that ROSEANNE had on her couch all those years has also been seen on the show AMEN, starring Sherman Hemsley and the episode on the JEFFERSONS when they flashback to when George was getting a loan for his first store on the same day Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, another show starring Sherman Hemsley. Interesting tidbit I'd thought I'd share.

It is a great episode. One of the best.

The afghan was laid out on the couch in the flashback. It was laid out just as it was on Amen and on Roseanne.
