I got my license on the 4th try. Every other time I hit a cone and failed. It was hard work and took some extra skill, but I had lots of great people rooting for me. :D

Here the drivers tests are conducted on the city streets - for the extra danger factor!

Two tries.
First try: Drove onto the sidewalk while attempting to parallel park. Automatic Fail, but I kept on going anyway for feedback for the rest of the test.

1st try for me. But, it took me 5 tries to pass the written test, only because I didn't study the first four.

I got mine on the second try.

I passed my road test on the first try.

My Mother later commented it was the only test I took in High School that I aced.

Half a try. I took the test a week before my 18th birthday, and I almost passed. The only thing I did wrong was that my turns were too quick and wide around the corners. Now that I think about it now - Yikes! :eek: The driver instructor went ahead and waived it for me since I was going to turn 18 in a week. Not sure if that was wise or not. :lol:

I don't know HOW i passed my driver's test. in the last minute, we were going back to the highway department, and I was so excited that I hadn't made a mistake yet, that I dind't pay attention to the guy in front of me breaking. So... I had to SLAM on the breaks, AFTER the tester threw up her arms and yelled "STOP!!!!!!!!!"

I think she might have passed me to avoid getting me again.

Same here...I failed the first time because I almost hit a guy crossing the street.

I got mine on the second try.

I passed my fourth time around. I cried every time I failed because I was so fed up and just wanted my damn license.

Twice. The first time I took it, they had me parallel park on a busy street. A greyhound bus was right on my ass when I was approaching the parking spot, and it made me nervous and screw up. So the second time, I took it at a little podunk town in the middle of no where.

I failed it the first time, passed on my second try in the pouring rain. I was so nervous never want to take that road test every again.

Two times, the first time I failed because I was going over the speed limit in a school zone and I went over the stop line on more then one occasion.

:yeahthat I cried every time too. I thought I'd never get it. I got my trial by snow, as it were. When I finally got my drivers' license, it was the middle of January!! :p

My dad helped me a lot with practicing on the road. Although one time I wasn't paying attention and nearly ran a red light. I got quite a yelling after that one. Another time I got an angry driver tailing me from behind since I wasn't going 15-20 MPH over the speed limit like everyone else. My dad told me to just ignore him and I did. The tailgater furiously passed. Less than 5 minutes later we see the same car pulled over by the police. Ah, my finest hour in driver's ed with pops. :D

I failed the first time because I made a really stupid error. However, I did pass the second time.

damn over this past summer I failed my written test twice!! I'm trying on my 3rd time sometime around Veteran's day! I don't study but seeing as I failed 2 times I see a pattern here......
and that pattern is.....
I NEED TO STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

2 times, but I never had to take an actual driving test, just a written one. You could miss no more than 7 and I missed 8 on the first try. That was more of an annoyance than anything.
