It seems that a lot of members are on Saturday mornings and into the afternoon. I just think it's a blast. Like meeting at a coffee house with friends and just yacking it up, lol.

So, what does everyone have planned for the day? Me, I'm staying home. It's still lousy out with mounds of snow and ice. I'm going to order some burgers and fries and onion rings from this fantastic deli that delivers. I'm hoping that there are two Netlix movies in today's mail.

My life is soooo exciting.

I am taking my wife out to dinner. The inlaws have the kids, so it should be a nice night out. ;)

Hi Janice. *sits down in a chair with a mug of hot chocolate* Anyone else up for hot chocolate?
Hi Jen. Only if it's Swiss Miss hot chocolate with whipped cream.

Hello everyone! WOuld you like some scones? I baked them myself.

Anyhoo, today I'm going to putter around the apartment and work on some of my pendant projects. I bought a new Dremal rotary tool today which has a ton of accessories and bits that will help me out a lot. I have a rather thick instruction manual to read now, but I actually like reading those things.

Small irony: Saturday is usually either the least or 2nd least busy day on the site in terms of hits each week.

I have really no plans for today. It is too cold to do anything.

That's odd. I notice it comes to a grinding halt in mid-afternoon, when people go about their days, so perhaps the majority of traffic is in the morning and early afternoon....or most of the hits are on CC and not the sitcom boards. Who knows, but Saturdays mornings and afternoons on CC is a day when a lot of the regulars post.

Since it is a long weekend, my inlaws have the kids for 3 whole days! You just might hear an announcement shortly of a Baby Damage #3!

I want to sleep all day and catch up on my school work but I have to go into work for a few hours to train someone we just hired and then I have to go to some party for someones birthday. So it looks like tomorrow i'll be doing all my work all day. But I did see Norbit again last night, funniest movie.

Even though I stop by daily, I have more time to post and lurk on Saturdays.

I so agree. *passing the coffee*

I wish I could be here more. We are doing some small renovations in our house and with the weather being so great, we decided to start doing these renovations. I am also having some work done on the apt. complex that I own. So, I am having to go drive over there and making sure things are going as planned. :D Right now I have a break. I am here alone and decided to check in.

Well, I'm hoping to head down to the liquor store in a bit... I'm craving some mighty fine imported beer, and there's this liquor store that has an AWESOME selection of imports.

Then I need to go back to TJ Maxx to exchange some stuff I got yesterday. And that's about it.

Oh, and could somebody make me some coffee? Heavy on the espresso and only one spoonful of sugar, please.

Janice,

It's 78 degrees right now (12:45 PM) and last night, due to the warm Santa Ana winds, it was 70 degrees last night at 11:30 PM. :D

That's another thing. I should hopefully be getting word from my dad today about whether or not I'm going to be able to go to southern California over my spring break next month (If I get to go, I'll be in Long Beach, CA). So I'll (hopefully) be basking in the nice weather too!

I was in the San Fernando Valley today, and it was in the 80s..I was in Van Nuys and it was 84 degrees!; but it is supposed to RAIN on Monday, and the following week after that, cooler temps, like the low 60s...
Yes, I got 80 in my back yard today. Yesterday it was 89 at both Death Valley and Santa Paula... the highest in the nation.
I just got back from a bike ride- wearing a T-shirt, no jacket or sweater. :)
(Sorry, Janice ;) )

Right, it is supposed to "cool off" into the 60s. I don't know how I'll manage.

Ok, we took a break from work here at home and went to the beach...GORGEOUOS, JUST GORGEOUS. They say this weather pattern will soon get colder, so I am enjoying this warm weather as much as I can.

I was actually TEMPTED to drive all the way to Santa Barbara, today, but I didnt; the weather is glorious and perfect for a long, car trip:); and what a great day to drive on the coast highway!!!

God Bless, the 1, baby!
Oh hell yeah. We took our 66 Mustang to the beach. It was the perfect day for this. Wore shorts today, hair in a ponytail, just laid back after we did some work on the house. My daughter works at a store right at the harbor so since we needed to pick her up at 3pm, we decided to hit the beach and then go pick her up.

I metabolize caffeine REALLY quickly. I can have a really big cup of coffee and then go to bed right afterwards - not kidding. Regardless, if I have coffee with espresso shots in there, it goes BAM! through my system very fast.

I had a latte last week with no whipped cream and 3 shots of espresso. It was deeeeeeelish. :D

The coffee that they have at Books a Million is good, too. I had a Chocolate-Cherry Frap with whipped cream. :liplick: Tasty stuff.

I relaxed today (after digging around in piles of a ruined house yesterday trying to find anything that survived it being buldozed.....VERY long story) I haven't had a chance to relax in a while. This job keeps me busy and I just got back from a conference with all the other managers in my division.

I imagine I will be on here a bit more the last week of February b/c my mom is having surgery and I will be taking off work for the week to help out my parents.

I love my job I just don't have time to post much anymore except on weekends if I am actually home that is. :) That is why I am enjoying this relaxing day. It'll probably be the last for a while.

I'd rather go out on Saturdays. I don't know what's been stopping me from doing so the past couple of weeks, LOL. But heck, I love SO anyday of the week. :D

Good Morning! Might as well make this the weekend chat thread. Just stop by and chat about what you've done so far this weekend, and what you plan on doing today.

I've got another action-packed day ahead of me, not. I baked those Grand's Cinnabonn rolls, and the house smells great. Lazy hubby just woke up half an hour ago and is in the kitchen reading the Sunday paper and stuffing his face, lol.

I'm hopping out to CVS to catch a good sale. My niece and her boyfriend are coming by later for pizza. Sunday night is always HBO night in this house. The series Rome and Extras are on tonight.

Brian, I want to hear about YOUR night. ;)

I need to get down to the library at some point today to find books for a paper I need to do for school.

I haven't got a lot planned for today- today is a MAJOR milestone birthday for my mom. I got her a present, my sibs should be calling at some point to wish her a happy b-day, and my mom is going out with her sis (my aunt) later today. Me, I'm just going to be doing homework, I think. I'm afraid nothing that exciting. Thank god I have tomorrow off from school, yay :D

Holy Crap it's cold in NYC today!

I got up early to run a few errands, but I only managed a quick trip to the Home Depot downtown and a stop at the grocery store on the way back to my apartment.

Today i have to set up my Ebay account so i can put my pendants up for sale. I'll let you guys know when that gets going.

Morning, everyone :)

I don't have much planned for my day off. My brother is visiting for the next few days, so I'm excited to see him :) Later on tonight, I'm heading over to my friend Tiffany's house where she's going to give me a make-over  We might watch some movies as well.

I hope I can squeeze in some writing this afternoon!
