What are you trying to get? Windows 7 is the new name for Vienna, formerly Windows Blackhomb - the next release due in 2009. afaik, there are no compiled builds pre-alpha or otherwise even in MS itself, so its almost certain you arent downloading that.

Are you downloading Vista? What tells you your machine is not capable? The VIsta readiness advisor? Also downloading Vista outside of Windows Marketplace is almost certainly illegal just as a "dont pirate" disclaimer.
