I loved the kids on Roseanne. I do get so damn annoyed when they act bratty, selfish and downright rude, HOWEVER, it is only because growing up, I was just like Becky. I was selfish, I wanted to be with my boyfriend, my boyfriend was THE TOPS, no one else mattered. I had to have him, be with him ALWAYS, etc. So, in reality the way the kids behaved on that show is basically how a lot of kids/teens behave in reality, and I think reality is what irks us more. Not like those damn Tanner kids who they tried to make so damn cute, (NOT) funny, (NOT) etc. Roseanne brought forth reality to her show and some people couldn't face that. But I do know how watching those girls (Becky and Darlene) treat the family can get on one's nerves. :lol:

As far as Nicky on FPOBA, the only reason he was created was because Janet Hubert, who was playing Vivian at that time, was pregnant in real life. I read that TPTB didn't want to add a baby, but I guess by the time she informed them, it was too late since she was already showing. I can't remember where I heard this; but it was a couple different sources.

I have to agree, they were the most realistic kids on T.V because the Tanner girls were as fake as a two dollar bill. NO ONE can't possibly act like the Tanner girls, if any of the Connor kids ran a car through the kitchen, the last thing they would get is a "heartwarming" talk.

The worst ones are the little boys with bowl cut haircuts first popularized by the ever-annoying Oliver on The Brady Bunch. Next was the bowl-cut little freak on Eight is Enough.......others with the same annoying bowl-haircut that I remember are the little irritant David on The Ropers......the little goofball on Different Strokes......one on Gimme a Break.......hated the one on Family Ties......I'm sure I'm forgetting one.....bottom line: Kids that are supposed to be cute with their goofy bowl haircuts drive me to change the channel !

That's why I stay away from reruns of that show like a plague!!! The show was a lot better when Michelle was a baby/toddler and couldn't talk.

One of the twin's friends on Everybody Loves Raymond in the episode called "The annoying kid" in season 7.

Michelle on Full House. Though, there was a few times that she was alright when she started getting around 6-7 years old. The episode where Papouli died was the one where I liked her the most. I don't know if that was Mary Kate or Ashley in those scenes. But, which ever twin it was. They were really good at pulling off the grief and making it seem real.

But, all in all. Michelle was a little brat. I loved Stephanie on that show and I hated that Michelle wasn't more like her sister. (Steph was a sarcastic little you know what...In a good way! She reminds me of myself as a child. Except, I didn't have an annoying little sister)

FUnny thing is that if you take her out of the show, I think it's a really good sitcom. And the first couple of seasons when she was a baby and couldnt talk yet or say her stupid catch phrases every 3rd line were really good and funny I thought. But once she got old enough and the show became "Michelle's Full House", it dropped down alot of notches

I also thought it was ridiculous that over the course of 8 seasons, no one ever moved out of that house and there were like 10 people living there by the time it was over. Then again, that's another thread for another day. :crazy: :lol:

I never had a problem with Cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch or Sam on Diff'rent Strokes, and I actually liked Dennis the Menace, Michelle on Full House, and Olivia on the Cosby Show, but the one I really couldn't stand was Ricky Segall on the Partridge Family. He was so annoying and his singing was horrible. He wasn't even in most of the stories. The only episode that his character actually had a part in was the first one he appeared in. In all the others, he just comes on to sing an annoying song. I was glad when they got rid of him halfway through that season.

I don't understand all the hate towards Michelle Tanner. She was a just kid, behaving like many kids do in real life. But don't you dare mention that on the IMDB board on "Full Huse", or you'll get a thread dedidated solely to how stupid you are. :confused:

Yeah, Judy was usually given a "cute" line once in a while mainly s1-2. I don't see how she's more annoying than any of the other kids. Eddie always did selfish things without thinking of consequence and Laura would either insult Urkel or use him for her own gain. Richie became the cute one after Judy left.
