...that Nancy McKeon aka Jo from "Facts of Life" is a fanatic about ketchup! I mean, there are a lot of references in "FOL" for example:

Jo: You know what, I AM going with your friend, so eat your heart out! And don't forget to put ketchup on it! :p

Then there was another episode where Jo was writing down orders for the cafeteria and the dialogue went like this:

Jo: Uh it says here you're ordering 30 more cartons of ketchup. How much ketchup does a person need?
Blair: That depends entirely on your income. The more you make, the less ketchup you use!

THEN in her movie, comfort and joy, her character put ketchup in her stuffing! I think that was Nancy McKeon's idea because she likes it that way. I mean who doesn't??

Then lastly, there are these two photographic evidences:

I was remembering the ep where Nat was at the truck stop and she was writing a book and she made up characters and Jo was Joanne Burger. There was a scene where Nat and Joanne were talking and Jo was pouring one Ketchup bottle to another and Nat asked if she had been doing this long and she said no I have always been good with my hands.

Actually, that's a common practice in diners, restaurants etc. The purpose is to let the ketchup from one bottle drain into another, that way you don't have a lot of half empty bottles on the counter or tables, and it makes it easier for the customers to pour it out.

I used to work for a steakhouse and that is what we used to make Thousand Island Dressing. The almost empties of ketchup were tipped over in a bucket with a lid that had several bottle size holes in it! Once I found that out, I stayed away from Thousand Island dressing!
