No, she did Good Times during this season. I honestly dont think I ever saw an African-American actor on FAMILY in the entire series run but I could be wrong.

Ok, I'm thinking about a 1979 TV sitcom that was struggling in the ratings and during early 1980 Janet Jackson was added to the show. Can't think of the Name

That was New Kind of Family that Rob Lowe was in ABC asked me to find promos of the show for a interview they were doing with Lowe around the time West Wing was popular, they only gave me like 24 hours to find the footage, I dont know why these producers expect these things to be so easy to find!!
