I would appreciate some help. I grew up in the early-mid 90's and I was a busy kid, never home on the weekends and my family just didn't watch TV. I never watched TGIF or any other primetime shows. I did watch some on syndication though. I'm currently 24 and spent most of last weekend relaxing and watching Saved By the Bell: The College Years on DVD. I was a fan of SBTB but really loved the College Years.

I was also a big fan of shows like Full House, Family Matters, and Step By Step. They are all sitcoms in the same mold- comedy sitcoms with an interesting and funny cast chronicling the lives of kids and adults growing up, with a moral theme to most episodes. For the most part, things ended up well, and wasn't really an accurate portrayal of real life, but the themes and episodes and things the kids and families went through were real enough.

Can anyone recommend similar shows? There aren't any more. Most of the shows now are centered on adults, there's very few shows w/ kids in college, and none now are really like the sitcomes mentioned above. I've seen a few episodes of random Nickelodeon or Disney type shows but they are just a little too childish for my tastes. Are they are any shows within the last 20 years, either currently on or on DVD that are similar to SBTB, FH, FM, and SBS? Thanks in advance! :D

I know the first couple seasons of Growing Pains and Who's the Boss are on DVD. Also, Family Ties is coming to DVD next week, I believe. I for one would love to see Mr. Belvedere, Perfect Strangers and Just the 10 of Us on DVD! :)
