There was also the DJ/biker killed in a road rage incident. I forget the kid's name but the band "Little Ceasar" made a music video about him.

There was also the death of Katherine Korzillius (sp? I'm sure its wrong) who was the daugheter of Bon Jovi's manager. Bon Jovi appeared on the segment.

The biker's name for those who are interested was Lee Selwyn.

Add Henry Rollins (of Rollins Band) to the list - He was mugged along with a friend of his, Joseph Cole (who was the son of a famous soap opera star Dennis Cole) - While Rollins was able to escape the attack without any injury, Cole was murdered by the attackers who have never been identified.

Regarding this topic, I remember UM being part of a VH1 trivia question. About six or seven years ago, the now defunct-series The Rock Show presented the question of which rock star did not appear on UM. The choices were: Joan Jett, Rob Halford (of Judas Priest fame), Jon Bon Jovi, and Henry Rollins.

Of course, the correct answer was Rob Halford. I hadn't forgotten that Henry Rollins and Jon Bon Jovi were each interviewed on the show. Nor had I forgotten that Joan Jett was among those who were interviewed in the segment about Mia Zapata's murder.

Oh, yeah! That's right, Kane. Joan Jett was in the Mia Zapata segment. Forgot completely about that. You are the master. :)
