I wear a size 34F bra. I've seen bras that go up to JJ cups.

And good luck finding a bra with a cup size larger than DD in stores -- retailers in brick-and-mortar stores don't believe in stocking bras w/ cup sizes larger than that. As a result, I have to buy my bras exclusively online. :mad:

If you say you are a DDD cup, it is the same thing as being an E cup. If you look at websites like www.figleaves.com, you will see where they say that (DDD/E).

I gave up on sexy bras a LONG time ago. Just as long as they have my fuggin' size AND it's NOT a minimizer (GOD I HATE THESE SO MUCH), I'll wear it. :lol:

They make half-size bras that I think go up to "nearly C," and I've seen them at big-box stores like Target, Kohls, etc. They have "Nearly A" bras, which is equivalent to an AA-cup, since you aren't an A cup. You might want to check into that, since you say the bras you have are too big for you.

I know... It's confusing. If you're an AA cup, that means you're smaller than an A cup. But if you're a DD cup, you're bigger than a D cup. DDD (or E) cup is twice as large as a D cup.

See... I depise the stupid ****ing bra sizing system (I've ranted about it in my LJ zillions of times) for reasons like this. If they used ONE letter for every cup size available, it would make SO much more sense, and there would be no more bull****ting involved. Also, I wish more retailers would realize that there are just as many large-busted gals as there are flat-busted gals, and that they would start carrying more sizes over a D/DD/DDD cup. Most big-box stores only carry up to D cup bras, and most department stores will carry up to DD cup bras, with the occasional DDD cup bras. Lane Bryant is the only store I know of that DEFINITELY carries that size, AND they stock larger cup sizes, too (when I was shopping with my mom one time, I saw that they had a bunch of G-cup bras in stock). UNFORTUNATELY, they generally only cater to gals who wear a 38 band and over. I am a 34 band, so I'm ****ed in that department.




...I just realized that this sort of turned into a rant post. Oops, sorry. :lol: Anyway, if there's a large(ish) Target or some type of big-box store near you that has a large-ish lingerie department, try looking for Playtex Half Sizes Too (http://www.playtexnet.com/halfsizestoo/thumb.asp) bras -- they're the ones that make the "Nearly _" bras I told you about. My friend Taylor (second on my Myspace top friends) has big boobs. She is 38 DD, and we have so many inside jokes about her boobs. :rofl: I even started to refer to them as "Taylor Tits".

And when I want something from my mother, I say to her "You have bigger boobs than Maureen." :lol: Maureen's my stepmom, and her chest looks very similar to mine (ewww!).

I'm rather on the small size (but I wear a B-cup) myself but have enjoyed the Playtex "Thank Goodness It Fits" bras. Jay Leno even mentioned them in a monolgue. He said, the first slogan was thrown out - the "are you sure you're not a guy?" bra. :rofl:

How the hell did I miss this thread? :lol: I was a 38DD until July 2006, now I'm a 38C, a much lighter load to carry. I had MAJOR back problems before I had my surgery, my chiropracter even recomended the surgery to help my back! :p

I wear a little bit bigger size than you PZelda, and my bras run closer to the $70 range, and if I want it to fit perfectly, I have to pay another $10 to have the band size tailored. I've done that before but I've also gone with a little less perfect to save the $10. :lol: It's the worst. It's what I hate most about my body, although I've had them so long (uuuummm, second grade??) that I guess I'm used to it.

Yeah, me too, but a few years ago I found this bra and lingerie shop that will fit you....which I REALLY hate because it's just plain embarrassing...but it does eliminate bra shopping. They fit you then bring you some options in your size then you choose with their help the one that you like best and fits you best. Then as long as nothing changes you can just keep going back and buying your size and brand. I only get fitted about once every two or three years and in the meantime I just pick the brand and size from what I got fitted for last time. :)

Gah, lucky you. I'm thinking I need to go to Lane Bryant and buy one of their 36DDD or 38DDD bras and have it tailored to my size. Because, damn, their Cacique bras are the BEST I have EVER worn. The only thing that bothers me is the fact they have four rows of hooks with their bras, but whatever. Seriously... best bras ever. I haven't been able to find a bra like the ones they have there, and I probably never will. :(

I just don’t get your apparent thing with bras. It was also weird when you were asking some female members what their bra sizes were and what they wear going in and out of the pool/shower.. whatever.
