This is what my local TV station reported on their website:

We may have our first big winter storm of the year. The weather models are finally coming together on a possible Valentine's Day Storm. The current track (as of Sunday night) will bring the storm over PA early Wednesday morning. Energy from the storm will likely transfer just off the east coast developing into a wicked coastal low. If that happens we may have a heavy snowfall followed by a strong NE wind. Blowing and drifting snow could become an issue for us Wednesday Night & Thursday. This is the worst case scenario. Best case scenario is the storm will stay south of us and only graze Northeastern PA.
Remember, the storm is still 3 days away (as of Sunday Night) and a lot can happen between now and Wednesday. Stay tuned to WNEP-TV for the latest and be prepared just in case we have a lot of snow to shovel :(

For the most up-to-the-minute forecast including the complete 7-day outlook, tune in to WNEP-TV.

On Valentine's Day! :( Luckily my mom said Andy can come over my house if it snows! :D

I hope it misses us. I can't stand snow.

Then again, unexpected days off from work are nice :D Of course, then we have to make them up in June :(

A snowstorm would ba a mixed blessing for me.

I could make some good money - our company got a job plowing snow for a big condo complex near my brother's house - and since I'm not working now, any extra cash along with my unemployment check would be great!

But..

I'm not really that crazy about plowing snow, and if it's a big storm, we coudly be working all night into the next day to clear it all up, so I'd be away from home for a few days...

But I guess a few extra bucks wouldn't hurt.

This is a nasty storm so far. We got a lot of snow just tonight! It started getting heavy at 9pm and it's not stopping until Thursday at 8pm. Our area will have a total of 19.2 inches they are predicting. I don't remember the last time we had this much.

We here in mid-Michigan got about 4 inches of snow during the night. Most of the schools are closed today. The sun is shining now but blowing snow is the problem at the moment. Guess I'll stay indoors.:D

It started as snow yesterday morning. Then it changed to sleet and freezing rain late in the afternoon. And now it's changed back to snow.

No snow. Got heavy rain for about 8 hours, temp dropped and it iced up. 3/4 of an inch of ice total. Power went out for a bit.

On a side note this thing will bomb once it gets over the Gulf Stream. New England can get ready for some windy days.

We've got almost 2 feet so far. They think the storm will be over by 8 tonight. Yeah, okay, we'll see.

i got up this morning and went to plow snow with my Brother over at this massive "seniors" community over near his house. There wasn't that much snow on the ground, but getting over there early this morning was a pain since most of the major roads weren't plowed.

We were there for about five hours. Plowing isn't rocket science. Just look before you back up, try not to hit any mailboxes, and take your time.

For lunch we went over to Wawa for sandwiches. Kudos to the fine people at Wawa for thier turkey club wraps!
