Just currious if this will soon be done, I understand why it needed to be done, but it has calmed down now. Can we have another chance?

Can we have another chance? KonfusionFTC 02-11-2007, 07:35 PM ya seriously. i hate waiting forever for my dang message to apprear T-Greg 02-11-2007, 11:50 PM ....put another way, we're in time out. TVFactFan 02-12-2007, 01:06 AM Yeah I will admit it has been a little hard to get used to-lol three 14 02-12-2007, 11:49 AM i add to a post and now the post i added my remark to is gone this sight is getting borring and i know alot of the other trader's have moved to another web sight which does not censore you. tinkerbell22185 02-12-2007, 06:07 PM what are the other sites? three 14 02-12-2007, 08:49 PM savage traders online it is a great sight. jie3 02-12-2007, 09:57 PM what are the other sites? savagetradersonline.com TJ 02-13-2007, 12:04 AM The problems have gone from several a week to almost none since the boards have been moderated. It has eliminated the fights almost entirely. There have been very few reported posts, probably less than 5 in the last 2 months. Selling posts and spam are deleted before they ever reach the board. I believe the posts are being approved in a timely manner. A big thanks for that goes out to robyrob who is doing an excellent job. I'm sorry that a few people have left, but it's not because the board is being moderated. It may appear to be fewer posts here than in the past, but that is just mainly the off-top non-trading related posts. If you want to chit chat or talk about other shows, there are plenty of other boards here for that. I'll take a less active, friendly board over a more active one that is nothing but problems any day. T-Greg 02-13-2007, 12:28 AM TJ. I think the fact that there are fewer people posting now is a combination of the moderated posts, and I know of a few people who used to post often who have decided to get out of trading. I myself post less just because of the lack of spontaneity with having to wait for the message to go up. Sometimes, you figure "what's the point". robyrob 02-13-2007, 11:49 AM i do my best to check for new posts at the most every couple of hours, and Seth tries to cover times that I can't be here, but there are times when i am too busy at work where posts may go unapproved for up to 4-5 hours at the most gilligan fanatic 02-13-2007, 11:52 AM We think you do a great job rob, but I think we need a second chance here. T-Greg 02-13-2007, 12:21 PM Robyrob. I know you can only do this as time permits. I suggest to TJ that he open the board as it was previously with the warning that it will go back to being moderated if problems arise again. We'll see if people have learned a lesson from this. |
