It was about six young actors trying to adjust to the demands of instant stardom

Funny you mention "Grosse Pointe," because the complete series (it barely lasted a season) is now out on DVD.

"Grosse Pointe" was a very witty and biting look at network TV. Plus it totally mocked the whole "teen soap opera" genre, which is probaby why Aaron Spelling threatened to sue them.

SO that's why it was only on for a year

Remember it? It was on like yesterday (or so it seems). Remembering is for shows from 30-40 years ago. 5 years ago or whenever this was on seems like last week it's so recent.

I got it last weekend and after watching it again,I couldn't believe that Hunter was such a biotch sometimes.Plus the finale was crap.HUnter married a guy that was just using her and Dave never got to be with Marcy.Crappy finale

I guess they were hoping that storyline would be resolved in season two, but since "Grosse Pointe" never made it to season two, we were stuck with a cliffhanger.
