He wants someone he can control so his choices are limited. I don't care for this hire. Wade is a mediocre head coach at best. He couldn't win in Denver with John Elway and he's the one that thought Rob Johnson was a better QB than Doug Flutie in Buffalo. I can't wait for the draft. :rolleyes:

Personally, I think Dallas needs someone offensive minded. But that's just me.

Rob Johnson was BETTER the Buffalo Special Teams gave up a Kickoff return with no time left which is now known as the Music City Miracle-lol Rob led Buffalo to a FG with under 10 seconds left

He might not have been a great coach in CLeveland... But supposedly when Parcells was winning Championships in NY it was because of Belchick. Parcells never won a SB w/o Bellichick as his DC.

I think this hire is still pretty good. He'll get better as a head coach. He'll improve that defense. Who knows maybe he'll turn that D into the #1 dallas ranked D back in the 2003-2004 season. The players seem to be happy with the hire. It's worth the risk.

He had a few good games but he fumbled the ball to much and he seemed to vanish pretty fast after Wade left. He was like Chad Hutchinson was....he couldn't hold onto the ball.

That's the only reason I preferred him to Norv Turner.I'm hoping he can fix our defense.

That wasn't Flutie's fault, as I recall, he didn't play defense or special teams- or did he??
