LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Emmy winner Kirstie Alley will play a rebel-turned-preacher in Fox's comedy pilot "The Minister of Divine."
Based on the British series "The Vicar of Dibley," the show centers on a woman, known for her rebellious younger days, who returns to her small hometown to be a minister.
Alley, whose TV credits include "Cheers" and "Veronica's Closet," most recently starred in and executive produced the Showtime series "Fat Actress."
