The Hottie and the Nottie is an upcoming romantic comedy film starring Paris Hilton and Christine Lakin. The film started shooting in January 2007. The film will be directed by Tom Putnam. The plot centres around a girl (Hilton) who refuses to marry her longtime boyfriend until he can find the perfect match for her ugly best friend (Lakin).

Anyone else think it is a joke that Christine is set to play the ugly girl? I mean they could have picked Roseanne, or Rosie O Donnel but Christine? What else does anyone have to say about this?

The first time I read ugly best friend Lakin I said to myself "what." The movie will need some heavy makeup to make Lakin look ugly. If anything, the roles should be reversed and Hilton should be the ugly best friend.

It will be good to see Christine Lakin again, I am glad she is keeping busy post SBS with alot of work.

It's not the first time she's played the part of someone considered unattractive. She was on a UPN show back in 2000 called 7 Days, she was a "braniac", nerdy high school student. The only thing they did to her appearance to make her ugly was have her wear glasses. I thought it was pretty stupid. Even as a "4 eyes" she was better looking than the supposedly "hot" girls on the show. Who casts these things anyway? Seems like Christine keeps busy with acting roles, but never gets any good parts. I'm surprised she keeps at it.
