saw it on PTI. I don't think they should. Great players avaible in the draft this year. They should go for greg oden. I say keep the pick they'll probably end up getting #1 pick. I say draft oden or a dominant big man & sign some talent in the off season.

Should they land the #1 or #2 pick in the draft, I think it would be damn near impossible to trade down, as Oden and Durant are both going to be great players. Unless they can get great value out of a trade, with another team offering them a proven star, I don't see how they trade the pick.

Now if they get a lower pick than 1 or 2, the value of their pick goes down quite a bit, and they wouldn't get very much in return. Might as well use your pick.

It depends on what you get in return for the pick both Oden are Durrant are for real, I watched Durrant play last night. The Celtics are a young team as it is with decent up and coming players like Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes and Tony Allen. I think it would be a good idea to hold on to the pick since it is a very deep draft and build around their young players similar to what the Bulls have done. It make take a few years of losing but if they stick with the young core that they have they can be legit contenders down the road.

If anything the Celtics should get rid of Paul Pierce they haven't won with him anyway for all these years.
