I was at a freakin awesome Superbowl party!!! I went down to my buddy Preston's garage, and watched the game on his big screen tv, as the puppy bowl played on the small tv, and ESPN played on the medium sized tv. Dude's got four tv's in his garage, and they're always tuned to Fox News, or sports. We had quite the spread of food too. Shrimp, crab, chips, dip, homeade brownies, and all the beer, and brands of beer a person could ever dream of, since one of the guys there (Mikey), works for Coors. It was an interesting mix of people too. Three hardcore Conservatives, (Preston, myself, and his buddy Mike), Two hardcore liberals, (My mom's boyfriend Carl, and his buddy Jeff), and Preston's wife, who's a registered democrat who only votes Republican. LOL!! So, as you can imagine, we had quite the mix of interesting personalities at this party. Fortunately though, there was no talking politics the whole time, so that was good. Anyway, Mike and Preston and I were rooting for the Colts, while Tracy and Carl were rooting for the Bears, and Jeff didn't care which team won. But yeah, we all had an awesome time!! I ended up staying over there for about 6 hours, including another two hours after the game, just hanging out with Preston and Tracy. I was the youngest guy there, but I totally fit in, at times, actually felt like the oldest. The second youngest was Carl, and he's 46, so I was the junior by 21 years. Anyway, I've hung out with my brother and his friends who are mostly in their 20's and 30's, and let me just tell you, they can't even hold a candle to these older guys when it comes to goofing off, and having a good time!!!!!!!! In a way, I kind of felt like I was at a loud, and much more profane version of the bar Cheers!! The best part of the day, was when Mike and Preston got into a slap fight. Nothing like seeing two 6'4" inch guys, one who's a Vietnam Vet, and another who was a College baseball stud, getting into a slap fight!! At 5'6" inches tall, I wanted absolutely nothing to do with that, but it sure was fun to watch. Beat the hell out of watching some lame halftime show by Prince!! Anyway, I could honestly write about my Superbowl Sunday all day, and into the night, but I'll just shut up for now, and listen to how your guys' Superbowl festivities went. LOL!!

I was down at the Gaf watching the game with a few friends. It was a pretty low key evening, the bar wasn't too crowded. We all brought some junk food and ordered som pizzas.

And of course we drank.

Watched the game at my sister's house, she has a big screen tv. We also celebrated my youngest daughter's birthday. Today is really her birthday but we celebrated it yesterday since she was off from work and everyone else also didn't work. So it was one big birthday and football party, pizza, chips, food galore and a lot of NOISE!!!!!!!!

I don't mix sports and politics.

I don't mix sports and politics.

That's smart. Neither did we, which was a nice surprise. Usually when the four of us get together, things inevitably turn political, but we were all surprisingly good yesterday. When you get a bunch of sports fans together for the Superbowl, nothing else matters!!!

Btw, congratulations on your team winning Ryan!! Along with my brother, you were the first person I thought of after they won. I'm happy for you!!! :) Hopefully next year it'll be the Seahawks vs The Colts!! ;)

Stayed home and watched the game. Snoozed last part of 2nd quarter and into part of half-time. Woke up; Prince was playing. Had a headache (not necessarily because of the music). Had something to eat, and then I felt better and watched the rest of the game and some of the interviews, Lombardi trophy, etc. afterwards.

(One of the snacks I had was really good. I had some mild picante sauce and had some crunchy cheetos and also some pork skins, or chicharrones, to dip; it was really good)
