I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on saturday and it hurt like hell. There is still a bit of pain its really irratating the hell outta me! The only things I've eaten are soups, spagitti o's (lol), apple sauce, chocolate pudding and jello. Its so hard to brush my teeth. Right after the procedure I felt like killing someone! Plus my cheeks are kinda fat from all the swelling! I put ice on every couple of mins. Plus I got school on tuesday!

When I had my wisdom teeth pulled in 1997, I had all 4 removed at once. I was still very groggy when the nurse helped me into the car. I was so out of it my mom had to push my head back because it was getting in the way of the gearshift! It was so hard for her to drive and keep a hold of me at the same time that I ended up sitting in the back with my sister when she had her wisdom teeth out. That way my mom had plenty of room to drive.

My sister was actually more in pain where the teeth were taken out. Me, I was much more groggy and nauseous. I had dry heaves for hours after coming home. I remember well the diet I had to stick to: pudding, jello and mashed potatoes. Usually I like those foods very much, but when that's your only choice,

Another thing to note was the day I had the procedure. It was August 29, 1997. The date stuck with me because the very next day, still groggy and weak, I was watching TV trying to eat pudding. The program (I think it was COPS) was interrupted by a news flash: Princess Diana was in a crash in France.

Cheer up, though. The worst of it is over, and you will feel back to normal pretty soon. Hope this helps! Hang in there! :)

I got eight teeth pulled back in November (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=188514), - all four wisdoms, and all four of my second molars (impacted by my wisdoms). I got off lucky - it took me three or four days to be back on solid foods, and nothing was swollen. My surgeon was amazing.

I know this isn't helping you. But what you're going through is the rule, and what I went through is the exception. You'll start to feel better in a few days. Just hang in there.

Just had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled nearly three weeks ago. I was a surgeon's dream case; no complications at all. No chipmunk cheeks -- I only had a bit of that the first day they were pulled. I was eating semi-solid foods very carefully within eight to nine hours after the procedure. My surgeon was absolutely AMAZING.

The rest of the details are in that thread I linked to.

Hang in there and follow-up on the doctor's orders; it'll go away.

I had all 4 of mine pulled at the same time too. One had a "hook" on it and it was taking so long to get out the pain medication wore off and it hurt and I was sobbing. I remember taking pain pills for days and the only thing I could eat was milkshakes.
