On 11 July 1991, the last solar eclipse of the 20th century took place. In Mexico City, thousands of people setup their cameras to film the eclipse. After the eclipse, people notice a silver object floating in the sky. Thousands of people film the object. 2 videos of the object, recorded 100 miles away from each other were compared. Both objects were strikingly similar.

2 months later, a similar object was filmed at an air show in Mexico. The object appeared to be floating upwards into the sky.

In 1992, A similar object appeared at the same air show in Mexico. The object appeared to be descending rapidly, then disappeared.

A year later, many people gathered at the air show to see if the object would return...it did. The object was seen flying against the wind through the helicopter formations, seemingly unaffected by the wind resistance caused by the propellors.

In March 1993, Children also began claiming they had seen UFO's as well. They claimed to have seen 3 shining lights, with the brightest light in the middle.

The object is silver, approximately 10 metres in diameter and spins on its own axis. Many witnesses claim the object emits a small, bright light.

Did the authorities ever come up with an explanation or is it still a mystery?

I'll be the Devil's Advocate here. I claim mass hysteria.

I thought that was the most interesting and unexplainable of the recent UFO events, given the videos which were obviously real unlike Gulf Breeze and elsewhere.

Nobody has really come up with an explaination for this..that I know of. Authorities or otherwise. A hoax has not been confirmed, government spacecraft has not been confirmed, nothing has been confirmed. Yet I believe new footage from Mexico is still springing up..the History Channel has done stuff on it

Thanks for mentioning the History Channel. I'm going to check their programming schedule and hopefully I'll be able to see what kind of footage they have on this topic.

Did anyone here see the video "Evidence: The Case For Nasa Ufos by David Sereda". If you did what do you think about it. I thought it was very convincing film footage for the existence of Ufos.
