I was 15 back in 1994 when my best friend from high school was on a huge Brad Pitt kick. She was only 16 but was overweight then; her extra bulk made her look older than she really was. She got us in to Interview with the Vampire. Then a couple of months later she dragged me to Legends of the Fall. Now I'm 27 and can honestly say the last R-rated film I saw in the theater was Passion of the Christ...3 years ago!!

The Crying Game in 1992, I was only 14 and went with a group of the older girls who only wanted to see this movie to see the huge giant surprise that everyone was talking about. Not only I wanted to see the huge surprise, but one of the gang I had a giant crush on went with us;) .

The Exorcist, when it was re-released, obviously. My dad took my friend and I and we were pretty much scared ****less.

My mom used to go to the movies all the time, as often as possible, so she'd take me along with her. Many a time it was to see a horror flick (thank you, Mom!!). This particular day it was Mausoleum. Can't remember a whole lot about it except that it's pretty bad, and that I freaked out during one point. It's the first R-rated movie that I can remember seeing, or one of the first.

My boyfriend, his father, and I saw Schindler's List. We needed his dad to get us in...it was my first date ever.

I was ten years old and I saw DEATH WISH with Charles Bronson (1975). A movie that begat all the Death Wish sequels and all those copycat vigilante movies. This movie by far has the most horrific rape scene I have ever seen in any movie.

The original Two-Minute Warning ('76) starring Charlton Heston, I was underage and didn't even realize then that it was R-rated.

I think my earliest R rated film experience was the double feature of Damien: Omen II and Suspiria at the local drive-in.

We were in California, visiting my friend that had moved there. I must have been about 11. Her dad bought us all tickets to go see Something to Talk About with Julia Roberts. Dumb movie, I didn't care what it was rated. I was kinda grossed out by all the sex-talk so I didn't find it funny, ya know? Yeah, I was too young for that one.
