View Full Version : 'Reba' Sitcom to End in February
Brian Damage 02-01-2007, 10:55 PM HOLLYWOOD - Country star Reba McEntire is to end her popular TV sitcom on a high note--as the most-watched comedy on the new CW network.
The sixth season of Reba will end on Feb. 18 with two back-to-back episodes--and they will be the last ones to air.
The show was almost cancelled last year, but CW executives ordered another season of the sitcom.

PrettyinPink55 02-03-2007, 01:06 PM That's very sad. :( Reba was one of the better sitcoms they had. :(

I think The CW will keep it on the afternoon block, even thought the show is over. They still air "What I Like About You" twice a day.

I don't know. Maybe we'll get one of those "a look into the future" episodes. Then we'll be able to see how they all turned out years later, and we can see the new baby (Not that we really saw the old one!). And Van and Cheyenne living on their own (since they just got their house last week).
Scoobiedoo30 02-06-2007, 01:57 PM I hope they keep Reba on in the afternoon Block but I dont see them keeping What I Like About You since Local Station's will be getting
the Right's to What I Like About you in the Fall

I bet it would be everyone saying goodbye to Van & Cheyenne and Kyra & Jake would probably be fighting over who gets their room
Scoobiedoo30 02-08-2007, 01:50 PM it would be nice to see Reba and Brock get back Together
Buffyboy323 02-09-2007, 09:15 AM I bet it would be everyone saying goodbye to Van & Cheyenne and Kyra & Jake would probably be fighting over who gets their room
That sounds like the EXACT thing that might happen. There will be sad moments, because Reba is saying goodbye to Cheyenne, Van, and Elizabeth, and it will kind of be like Reba (and the rest of the cast) is saying goodbye to us Viewers.
Scoobiedoo30 02-09-2007, 12:29 PM I know that it has been a great 6 year's
Buffyboy323 02-11-2007, 11:58 AM Info on the Final 2 episodes:
"The Housewarming"
While Van and Cheyenne settle into their new home, they realize they have their own "Barbra Jean" who constantly comes over unannounced and uninvited - Reba. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean uses her divorce process with Brock to dramatize at her new news-weatherwoman job as Stormy Clearweather on the newscasts to bring in new fans.
"The Kids are Alright"
When Van's poor home improvements skills causes a small fire in their home, Reba allows them to stay at her house until they get everything back in order. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean turns down an out of state job promotion to make it work with Brock. With everyone at a happy state in their life; they all realize they had a crazy six years but they made it through because "They're Survivors".
It's been a great 6 years. At least The CW is giving us another "Series Finale." Van, Cheyenne, and Elizabeth are moving out afterall. Kira will probably get accepted to a good College, and BJ and Reba will just stay, well, BJ and Reba.
Scoobiedoo30 02-11-2007, 03:56 PM I am sure sad to see Reba Lgo off bthe air

Me too. It doesn't deserve this treatment. The CW obviously doesn't have any room for family oriented programming (from the old WB that is).

Because the former President of the UPN Network now runs The CW. And she obviously doesn't know anything, I mean come on, she was once in charge of that god aweful UPN Network.
Corolla 02-19-2007, 09:09 AM NO!!!!! I missed the final episode of Reba! It was my favorite show ever, and I forgot to watch it last night. I won't be watching the CW anymore now anyway, never did like it since it became "the CW".

Me too, but Lifetime will be showing it sometime later. I am going to miss this. I hope Reba Mcentire does another T.V., she is a good actress.

I've never heard of Lifetime. Do we have that in Canada?
