1950's:NBA'S then Minneapolis Lakers. Mikan, Mikkelson, and Pollard. I think they are the most forgetten dyansty. The won back to back to back titles that decade (52'-54'). They won 4 titles that decade.
1960's: NBA's Boston Celtics. Russell, jones, havlicek that team was just unstopable. That decade they won 7 straight titles (60'-66'). They closed out the 60's with their 8th championship of decade. A classic finals matchup with the lakers.
1970's: NFL PITTSBURG STEELERS. who could forget these years. The steel curtain D' of greene, lambert, ham, blount and Greenwood. And not to mention that offensive of bradshaw, harris, swann, and stallworth. They won back to back titles in 74 & 75. they won 3 titles that decade.
1980's: NBA LOS ANGELES LAKERS. they brought a new era of basketball in. The best decade in nba history. Magic, Kareem, Worthy. Who could forget their wins over thier arch rival boston celtics in the 85' and 87' nba finals. 5 championships for that decade. They were the 1st team in 20 yrs to win back to back titles.
1990's: Michael Jordan's bulls. They were great. Year after year they were in the finals and 6 times they got there they won. Jordan turned the nba finals into the Michael Jordan's Bulls show.
as for the 2000's it's still pretty much wide open the decade hasen't ended. But it'll probably go down to the lakers 3 peat or the patriot dynasty. I'll probably say the lakers 3 peat b/c they did it 3 years straight. The pats did not.
