Chore there is. Picking up dog poop!!!!!!!!!!! :puke: This especially sucks when you live in a tri-plex with neighbors who have two dogs, each weighing atleast 90 pounds each, who NEVER pick up their own dog's ****!!!! I just got done spending an hour doing this disgusting chore in my backyard, because I want to sit out on the back deck, but haven't been able to, because the stench from this guys dogs, has been absolutely unbearable!!! I've had people giving me advice on how to resolve this problem. One neighbor suggested that I tell the landlord. Well, we've done that about three times, and still nothing has changed. I've gone directly to the neighbor in question, and he tried to put a guilt trip on me, talking about how hard he's been working, and how he just hasn't had the time. I asked him, how much time does it take to pick up your dogs poop right after he does it, and of course he quickly changed the subject, and told me he'd take care of it. My friend Donna told me to just leave it, and eventually somebody else would get to it, so I ended up doing that, and six months, and one smelly ass backyard later, nobody picked up a single log, which is why I just got done spending an hour doing this nasty chore. I'm not even exaggerating when I say log either, these beasts **** bricks man!!! Donna even suggested that after I pick up the poo, I should put it on his porch, but I just haven't had the heart to do that. I'm thinking I should start taking her advice though, because I pick up my own dogs poo, I don't need to be picking his dog's **** up all the time too. Plus, if he doesn't care enough to clean up after his own dogs, then why should I care how he'd feel if I did that?? Anyway, any of you guys ever have any similar experiences, and if so, how did you deal with it??

God, how stupid on their part. My pug is litter trained. Sure he takes a walk outside with me and I carry a plastic bag, but for the most part, I have my pug trained like a cat. When we had our cat, our pug Duke, watched the cat go to the litter box and then he started to do the poop in there.

I know you have had issues with your neighbors, so maybe confronting them is not the thing to do. It obviously doesn't work. STUPID NEIGHBORS!!!!!! I would throw the sh*t over to their yard!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fortunately my back yard sits on a greenbelt so what I do is wait till the "item" has hardened and then take an old hockey stick and shoot the pucks over the fence.

For me I would take the backyard hockey practice over folding laundry anyday. Perhaps you should just get a hockey stick and fire it over into the neighbours yard, you might find it therapeutic (especially if you can hit one of them with the "puck")

Find out when his birthday is and give him a pooper scooper.

 That's a great idea. I'll wrap it up and everything, and leave it on his back porch, and sign it as anonymous. LOL!!

My aunt has a neighbor who lets his dogs crap on her driveway. I don't get those people....what is lacking in their feeble brains that make them think that isn't rude??

I am not a pets-type of person for this reason. All of the cleaning and caring for the animal. No, thank you. Heck, there are times I have to keep up with myself let alone a non-human animal.

Brad, that's just terrible. I really feel for you. Now that you've cleaned it, the jerks will always expect that. Isn't there a law or city ordinance or something that can stop this? Try calling City Hall. Can't hurt.

That's one thing I don't miss about having a dog. :barf: It amazes me how rude and ignorant people can be. Can you call Animal Control or something?

It's not the animals fault...in this case I think Brad needs to call PEOPLE CONTROL...in the meantime Brad, do the brown paper bag thingy I mentioned above. ;)
