I watched World trade Center last night. Dorothy was in a very minor role. I almost didn't recognize her because her part was so fleeting.

She also played Reba's mom on the show Reba. I took me almost the entire show to recognize her. She had short gray hair and glasses. If it weren't for the voice, I would have never figured it out.

Oh interesting. lol.. when you said "WTC" I thought you meant the building! I know it's gone, but back in 2001.

Neat that she's been on 'Reba' too.

I am sure it will eventually. Being that it is a recent movie it will probably be a while yet. After pay per view, new movies then go to the movie channels then regular TV.:)

Movies that air on cable normally air abt 2-3 years later on television. It just depends.

2006 .It stars Nicholas Cage as one of several firemen trapped in the rubble. In my opinion the film was very tasteful and did not exploit the event as I was afraid it would. (directed by Oliver Stone who tends to exaggerate and sensationalize things).

I had no idea that she was in the movie.. I even saw it. I am going to have to rewatch it and keep a good eye out for her. I will also have to see if I can catch her on Reba. I watched the show a few times, but never was a huge fan or anything.

She's in a scene in the home of one of the trapped firemen.Playing his wife's mother I think.Sometime in the first half of the movie.I haven't seen the last half of the movie so she may have reappeared.
The movie was very claustrophobic and I soon tired of it. But it was tasteful and non-exploitive . Just too slow for my taste.
