Someone told me today that the Golden Girls were on an awards show sometime in the last few years and were supposed to appear as the Sex and the City girls?

Blanche = Samantha
Sophia = Carrie
Rose = Charlotte
Dorothy = Miranda

Did anyone see this? I bet it was great if it actually happened! :)

You're somewhat correct...

There was a parody on the TVLand awards a couple years ago... if Sex and the City were "old." The actresses/roles were:

Bea Arthur as Carrie
Charlotte Rae as Charlotte
Sally Struthers as Samantha
Katherine Helmond as Miranda
Abe Vigoda as Mr. Big
