These past few hours that lead to this very day, has been quite emotional for me. I am actually now realizing how it is to miss Freddie. Some of you may think. How can someone who has dedicated there free time, preserving Freddie’s memory, who hardly knows Freddie, feel this way. Today was my day of missing Freddie since Monday I will be busy working and going to appointments there after. My day of remembering Freddie consisted of Lighting three candles of Jesus, watching endless hours of Chico and the Man, IM’ing friends who understand my grieving-remembering. One fan who has e-mailed me called me today to discuss our passion for such a talented human being. Discussing our memories and passions for Freddie and realizing how much we both miss him.

I have thought of Freddie all day wishing I was there to visit him at Forest lawn, then wondering who would be there to pay a visit to him on the 29th of January. I know Freddie would understand as he knows I have been thinking about him continually for the past few days. Today I pray that he truly knows how we all feel about him and that he is also remembered. I also pray for Maria as she continues to love and miss her son and husband Karl. May she be blessed with the memories that keep her happy and know that someday she will be with her family in Christ Jesus. I have been playing a song sung by Mercy Me that I have playing also at the website. I have enjoyed this song as a comfort and peaceful reminder that Freddie is alright and is at peace.

"I can only imagine what it will be like, when I walk by your side...
I can only imagine, what my eyes will see, when Your Face is before me!
I can only imagine. I can only imagine.
Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!
I can only imagine, when that day comes, when I find myself standing in the Son!
I can only imagine, when all I will do, is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!
Yeah! I can only imagine!
Yeah! I can only imagine!
I can only imagine! Yeah! I can only imagine!! Only imagine!!!
I can only imagine.
I can only imagine, when all I do is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine."

God bless you Freddie as you walk side by side with the Lord

That song is so beautiful. They played it at my friend Trudys funeral last Feb. She died of cancer so the song reminds me of her. I think Freddie would've loved it. Freddie you are missed. God Bless you up in heaven...

Suz I have to tell you that we are feeling the same way as you. I also loved your tribute CD to Freddie. I've played it countless times.

I wish Maria and her family well and I wish I could tell her personally that she is not forgotten by Freddie's fans. She is loved. As well as Freddie Jr. I wish I could personally tell him how much his father was loved. I also want to tell him that I love him too. He is in my thoughts and prayers. I also wish I could've gone to Forest Lawn but I just couldn't go. Maybe one day.

Yes I have to admit... I was sad this year, but at peace. I listened to music, and discussed about Freddie to one of my coworkers on Monday. She was in awe over how talented Freddie was and what he accomplished. I should her a few of the sites at our work computer that day as well. She seemed facinated and often wondered herself if the flowers that I ordered for Freddie's gave arrived. I found out later that day that they did arrive at Freddie's crypt. I was sad to not personally placed them there, but I knew that they were in good hands and there were possibly several others there for Freddie. Somehow I knew Freddie was here letting me know that we ( all of us here) were supporting one another throughout that day and not to worry as he knows we all love him.

I received a photo from one our members of our Freddie family. She was there at Forest Lawn and happen to be there when they were bringing the flowers in. She was lucky enough to match the card with the right flowers when the attendent at Forest Lawn was making contact with someone else through walkie talkie on where Freddie was. Anyhow the flowers I got on our behalf can be seen here..
The flower bouquet was big, so it got divided in two and placed in both vases

on the boards....thank you Suzanne for sending the beautiful flowers for Freddie. Such loyalty and sincere love is what being a fan is all about. I'm glad Freddie has never been forgotten. It proves what an impact he left behind.

Thank you Macca, I have felt if I could not be there on the 29th like most of us would of liked too. The flowers represent the love and devotion we have for Freddie that continues to this very day.
