I went to the official UM web site (unsolved.com), and noticed that the site has been updated. They have added specific updates to updated cases. This includes the mentioning of Michael Goodwin's murder conviction in the Mickey Thompson case. The site also acknowledges that UM is currently being shown on Lifetime Real Women.

Yes indeed , if you scroll through all the cases listed , serveral have updates even the ones in the non update areas....Eric Rudolph, the young nebraska friends that were found dead after their suv was found in a swamp -Bill Rundle and Tracy Kenley, Ira Einhorn, Mailika Griffin, Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis just to name a few. So in answer to my question on a previous post- Yes they are updated cases that have been solved with updates on the show.

In the "Updates" section, there was an additional update on Samuel Leroy Wodke, the cop-killer who escaped from a South Carolina prison in 1994, only to recaptured with the help of UM in 1996: He died of a heart attack in August of 2005. (Good riddance!) His death came just three months before the 20th anniversary of the November 1985 murder of Valdon Keith, the officer he was convicted of gunning down.
There are still a number of other cases on the site that have no updates, most likely because those cases have no new developments. :(
