Why is that? Is he named after the dictionary? Is he? IS HE? You can tell me if he is. Not that I would mind. I´m an aficionado of that strange American show from so long ago, yet so near. Thank you, people.

I´m not sure of this, but a friend of mine who knows the show well told me the name comes from the comic book "Spider Man", which one of the original writers of the show was really into.
