View Full Version : Anyone know when MSNTV 3 is coming out?
TVFactFan 01-27-2007, 04:59 PM 2008 maybe?-lol I just found out some horrible news that I can no longer post on the Sports Board on Scout.com because the Website made an upgrade and it's not compatible to MSN TV users. So now I can only talk about SPORTS on this site. Damm I hate MSN
BTW: My Laptop is no BETTER because i can't receive Telephone Calls while I was on the Web. On MSN TV i could get my Phone Calls.
My Internet Life is slowly coming to an end:(
Get broadband. Problem solved.
TVFactFan 01-27-2007, 05:05 PM Get broadband. Problem solved.
is it more than $21.95 a month?
Yes, but is being able to have unrestricted access to the web on your computer without worrying about missing any calls worth more than $22 to you?
theshark8777 01-27-2007, 05:16 PM Depends on where you get it. at&t has it for 14.99, I can get it here with Embarq for 25... Cable varies.
You might think hard about going broadband and using a computer. I don't think the MSN TV platform is a top priority for Microsoft.
TVFactFan 01-27-2007, 05:18 PM Yes, but is being able to have unrestricted access to the web on your computer without worrying about missing any calls worth more than $22 to you?
But I'm so used to WATCHING TV and being on the WB at the SAME TIME and with a laptop I can't do that. So that's the problem I'm facing
Brieannas21 01-27-2007, 05:18 PM My DSL is 17.99 a month and I have AT&T.

TVFactFan 01-27-2007, 05:23 PM you can't use your laptop in front of the TV?
I'm used to the Web being NET to the TV so i could watch a Game and talk about it at the same time. With a lap top I have to keep lifting my head up and putting my eyes back on the screen. Damm

That's becoming clear
theshark8777 01-27-2007, 05:25 PM I was just asking, no need to get all worked up. I guess you are stuck then.
Although I rarely use it, I have a TV tuner on my PC, and it's hooked up to cable.

Me too, I've used it a few times when I was on bed rest.

MSN refuses to stay UP to DATE with Internet Changes. I feel like calling customer service and saying-"Cancel my service now because MSN is a JOKE"-lol

Well, the house phone that I just bought the other day has a 1-800 customer service number, It's a neat phone but I know that not a lot of people has it. Just about every company will have a 1-800 num.
I'm just saying that I didn't know if it was popular or not

In 2 or 3 years I don't think it will be. MSN is all SCREWED up, there are 2 or 3 dating sites I can't access, sports Sites, and I can't email people who have AOL accounts-lol

Well i'm positive that the $263.00 MSNTV 2 gets from me on a yearly basis is not keeping those customer service reps EMPLOYED-LOL I'm pretty sure they are getting much more than $263.00 a year
theshark8777 01-28-2007, 08:26 PM If they are in India, which is where Microsoft directs my call when I had to call, they may not be making much more than that
