Dose Anyone Know How John Amos And Esther Rolle Got Along?

As far as I know, they got along pretty well. Esther herself demanded that her character have a husband. Then, when john Amos left the show, it affected the whole cast.

They did get along well, they had to get along to work so well togather, I was shocked at the way they wrote john out of the show by having his character killed, but john went on to do bigger things, like the beast master and lock up with sylvester stallone and allso comong to america with eddie murphy. John is such a wonderful actor and I say the same of esther as well.

I saw one of those Entertainment Tonight "where are they now" shows where they interviewed John Amos and Ralph Carter. John Amos called Ms. Rolle a wonderful woman, and said she was very warm, kind and professional.
