About an hour ago, they had an episode of Roseanne on Nick at Nite that I've seen a couple times before. I don't know the episode title, but I would guess it's around 1993 or so. It's the one where DJ peeps at Molly (the other plot has Roseanne, Jackie and Nancy trying to come up with the money for the Lunch Box.) Anyways, at the tail end of the episode, Molly knocks on the Conner's door for a third time, and states that DJ is peeping again. Darlene tells her that in order to trap him, she's put shoe polish around the rim of the telescope, then she calls DJ down, but he doesn't have any shoe polish around his eye. Then David comes down, and HE has shoe polish around his eye. Then a message comes on the screen saying that the rest of the scene was deleted due to excessive violence or something like that. I was just wondering if anyone knows what happens, or if they just put that up there as a joke. I would imagine Darlene does something very violent to David. thanks

I think it was just a joke.

I'm not sure why, but they DID edit the one where Roseanne chases Laurie because of her emmy. They don't show that anymore.

It was just a joke...

Roseanne chasing Laurie for the Emmy may have been cut for time in syndication, not sure...

yeah it was a joke, i remember seeing that when I was younger. most networks don't state at the end of the episode that this scene has been deleted.

What was the episode title or synopsis that they cut Roseanne chasing Laurie out of? I don't remember that.

"The Dark Ages"

The electric company cuts off the Conners' electricity. Dan and Roseanne think Darlene slept with David after he spends the night in her room.

Oh, okay. I just watched that episode. So then is the part that they cut off the little part they usually have during or after the credits? Thanks.

In syndication the credits roll while Dan is on the phone with Becky and Mark, in the unedited version the credits roll during the scene where Laurie polishes her Emmy (and there are no credits while Dan is on the phone)
