How come The Professor wore navy/dark pants in the first season, but khaki in the second and third seasons? Seems strange to me. Does anyone know what the purpose or reason behind this was?

Who knows, The Skippers shirt was much darker in the first season too. And Gilligan's pants became a lighter blue too, they look very different in It's a Bird....

2 more questions that may never be resolved, along with-how come Gilligan, the Skipper, the proffesor and Mr. Howell were always perfectly clean-shaven, how come noones clothes ever got holes and/or rips and never became worn, how did they all stay clean, where'd they go to the bathroom, and the biggest question of all:

WITH ALL THAT KNOWLEDGE, HOW COME THE PROFFESOR COULD NEVER COME UP WITH A WAY TO GET THEM OFF THE ISLAND???

Oh, yea, I almost forgot- how come, in those awful reunion movies in the 70s, Gilligans shirt was brighter? And after they got off the island and back home in the first movie, how come everyone changed their clothes exept Gilligan and the skipper?
