WINGS has just joined the newest PHE "craze" of titling the DVD "The (insert number) Season." No longer is the word "complete" in the title, which kind of urks me. Anyway, at least it's coming--- I wish I could say the same about CHEERS.

*Does happy dance* LOL You should've seen me at work today when I got the email. I'm sure people thought I was nuts. But anyway, this is GOOD news!! I agree with TV on DVD Fan about them leaving out the word "complete." Whenever I see that, I always wonder if the eps. might be edited. I'm really looking forward to this one, though, b/c some of my favorite eps ("Lifeboat," "Blackout Biggins," "The Gift," and "I Love Brian" especially) are in this season.

The very first coverart pic for seasons 1 & 2 said "Wings: The First and Second Seasons". Then about a week later or so, they added "Complete" to it. Maybe the same will happen here. Yeah, I noticed that about Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley and Mork & Mindy. It's like we waited this long, our wait better have been for clearance of music rights and not just them being lazy.

Companies are much too loose with the word "Complete". They mean it as every episode from the season is there. Not that the episodes are complete. Like "Mamas Family: The Complete First Season". It's all edited episodes, but it's still called "Complete."

I too am wondering about Cheers. Usually it's always Cheers and Frasier that get released together. I like Wings more, but I still want the rest of Cheers. And I'm still hopeful that the rest of Taxi comes out as well. And this recent revival of shows from Paramount is a good sign. 7th Heaven was another show we thought was abandoned after 2 seasons, and now season 4 is coming out. And of course, the already mentioned Happy Days Franchise.

Great news indeed, Hope we see season 5 later this year. I guess Roy and Faye were bit players on the show judging by the fact they are still not included on the cover photo.

I love Blackout Biggins. It's one of my favorite episodes.
