Umm this is kinda new for me but I have a question for you all. Does anyone know what movies raven will be in or playing her voice in? I know she'll be in madagascar 2. Anyone else know?:confused:

I'm not actually sure if she'll be in Madagascar 2. I don't think it has been confirmed by anybody yet. Raven's publicist at Hollywood Records said earlier this week that Raven is filming something, but she didn't say what. So she could be doing anything from a movie to a commercial. We don't know yet. Raven is set to star in a remake of Adventures in Babysitting, so that could be what she's filming right now.

Raven might be concentrating more on music this year, her publicist confirmed that she'll have an album out this year :woohoo:

Ok cool, I went on wikipedia about her and it said she was to play the role of fea the leopard or jaguar or whatever. But wikipedia isn't always right so yeah. Thanks for the information!:wave:

Last week, I contacted Billboard Magazine and I asked about the sales figures for Raven's three CD's, as well as asking about her fourth album. My question and the Answer appeared on the Billboard site today (I put in a fake last name :lol: )

Raven-Symone released her third studio album in 2004, and it performed fairly poorly on the charts. I was wondering which of Raven's three albums -- "Here's to New Dreams" (1993), "Undeniable" (1999) and "This Is My Time" (2004) sold the most copies?

Do you know if Raven-Symone is going to be releasing a new album in 2007?

Raven-Symone, star of Disney Channel's "That's So Raven" and the two "Cheetah Girls" movies, is currently at work writing songs for her next album. The Hollywood Records set, which may be released in the fall, is the follow-up to 2004's "This Is My Time." The latter album has sold 235,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan. Her previous releases, 1999's "Undeniable" and 1993's "Here's To New Dreams," have sold 2,000 and 73,000, respectively.


(In 2006, "Dreams" was retitled and reissued with an altered tracklist as "From Then Until." It has sold 8,000 copies.)


While talking about her album sales, we also need to address the tremendous success of the four soundtracks for "That's So Raven" series and the two "The Cheetah Girls" movies. All of them feature many songs performed by Raven, especially "That's So Raven Too!" and "The Cheetah Girls 2."


The first "Cheetah Girls" album has sold 2 million copies while the follow-up has moved 1.3 million. The first "That's So Raven" soundtrack has shifted 491,000 while the second volume has done 200,000.
