I was in Belgium and watched a very funny sitcom that I believe was on the BBC(?). Anyway, it was very much like the show FRIENDS just with a British cast??? Name that show - I can't remember the name....this particular show I watched was based around a porno movie that the guys had watched called 'lesbian spank inferno' and one of the girls found them out and they were all at dinner together and she called them on it and it was really funny. ...help?
does anyone read this forum.....what is this show....it's probably never been aired on the US BBC CHANNELS.

This won't help a great deal, however, I think that Britcom was just showing on BBC America a month or so ago, but I apologize that I can't think of the name of it! I recall that it was about a bunch of friends in the same age range as the "Friends" show here, and it tended to be a little risque. I know it's not on the schedule at present, but if you have access to that channel, watch for it, because no doubt they will show that series again.

It has to be 'Men Behaving Badly' surely?
The stars are Martin Clunes, Neil Morrissey, Leslie Ash and Caroline Quentin.
No, that is not the show. This cast was a bit younger. I checked the 'Men Behaving Badly' website and looked through the episode summary page....definitely not it.

Was it "COUPLING", or, perhaps, "HIPPIES" ? They both have a young cast and they are both rather risque. I have seem shows from both these series on BBCAmerica very recently.

You might be thinking about 'Spaced'. It's sorta like 'Men Behaving Badly' but with a younger cast. Only thing is 'Spaced' isn't a BBC programme - it was made by Channel 4.

the show your trying to name is COUPLING, it has more of an adult theme than friends but is very similar in setup. Central perk has been replaced with a bar, there is a Joey type character, Ross type character etc. Besides being very obviously based on FRIENDS, it is still very original in terms of it's comedy and is very funny. It is shown on BBC2 in the U.K.
darren.
