I know I've stated before that I don't give a great deal of merit to the Neilsen ratings, but I was just wondering if anyone knew what Unsolved Mysteries' peak position was.

View Full Version : Unsolved's peak position wiseguy182 01-24-2007, 04:58 AM I know I've stated before that I don't give a great deal of merit to the Neilsen ratings, but I was just wondering if anyone knew what Unsolved Mysteries' peak position was. LooksLikeCRicci 01-24-2007, 12:11 PM I did some quick research via Google. This is what I found: http://www.angelfire.com/ny2/televisioncity/8590.html http://www.angelfire.com/ny2/televisioncity/9095.html I'm not fully standing behind these figures due to the fact that they have come from an Angelfire page, but I thought the figures were interesting. They show UM's peak position being at #9 in either 1990 or 1991. Hope this helps. kadrmas15 01-24-2007, 02:08 PM Yes, I believe UM was a top 10 show when you said it was Ricci, and I believe UM was a top 20 show until 1993 or 1994. I would say it was around 1993 or 1994 it started dropping off and the quality of the show went downhill rather quickly and within a couple of years of dropping off the top twenty was cancelled by NBC. Composite Sketch 01-24-2007, 04:04 PM They dropped out of the top 20 in the 1993/4 season, the same season where they were tinkering with the intro and the music. Coincidence? I don't think so. ;) |
