In my opinion, this is a *hilarious* comedy, and I'm generally not a fan of British comedy. "Mr. Bean" only consists of about 13 episodes (I've seen them all) and I really wish they'd come out with more, but I guess the star of the show doesn't want to get stereotyped as a dunce for the rest of his life. It's worth the watch, if you haven't already seen it!!

I agree. I loved this show since the minute I seen it and I too wished they would come out with some more episodes!

I really like the show Mr. Bean, too. I taped like every single episode back when I watched it in the 90s. I really like the episode where he's miniature golfing and the ball gets hit out of the fence and he golfs it all over town. That show is just hilarious! Who here saw the movie Rat Race? I thought Rowan Atkinson was really funny in that film.

I loved watching Mr. Bean. I've always enjoyed good physical comedy and Mr. Bean ranks right up there with the best. Rowan Atkinson is a brilliant comedian. I wish they would Mr. Bean again on PBS!!! :)

I saw a few episodes of Mr. Bean as well as the movie and i found the show hilarious This is one of the few comedies since the days of Ernie Kovacs that didn't use a lot of dialogue. Rowan Atkinson to me, looks a bit like Pee Wee Herman.

The movie was just as funny too. Id be willing to make a copy.
Rowan Atkinson is great. If you like Mr.Bean you would like Black ADDER . It was fabulous! Black ADDER 1-3 fourth is good but one through three are the best.

The documentary in on the 3rd disc under DVD features. It shows alot of early things he did. Like one man shows he did and how the bits from the show come together later to form Mr Bean. It also show how much planning goes into every aspect of a Mr Bean episode. I thought it was really fun to watch.:)

when you were little??? uh oh Im feeling old again. you must a youngin  If you 're goin to start watching Rowan AtkinSon.
I recommend starting with Black Adder. Blacke Adder II & III are the best. His character his completelty different. Rowan is another one of those unrated actors. His HBO special years ago was great too. Black Adder 1 his character is a weaslely bean; But Black Adder II he 's just a man of a 1,000 come backs.

I've got the Bean movie on DVD. I love pushing the language options button and listening to it in French; it sounds a lot funnier that way!

Rowan told Regis & Kelly that he would like to do another Bean movie. Oh, boy! I can't wait! I hope he gets himself a woman this time! He also told them that he liked for people to call him Bean rather than by his real name. Not your typical actor!

I saw the documentary back in 1997 when it was on PBS. One show I would love to get to see was one called, Not The Nine O'Clock News. It made fun of the BBC News and that's what HBO's Not Necessarily the News was based on. I've got a two audio tape set of sketches from that show.

Another reason I like Mr. Bean a lot is that I sometimes have erotic dreams about him, but they never go beyond kissing; he's just too darn innocent to "shag"

I love Mr. Bean. I remember watching his show with my dad when I younger. I haven't seen all of the episodes yet, but I like the one where he buys a new recliner and when he paints his apartment. I also remember a Christmas episode where he sent christmas cards to himself lol and also an episode where he gave a picture or painting to his girlfriend. He gave his girlfriend a little box and she thought that he was going to propose. when she opened it there was this round shiney ring, but when Bean pulled it out it was a hook for the wall to hang the painting LOL.

I'm planning to collect mr. bean and blackadder dvds. :)

ooh and yes I thought Teddy was so cute too. :D

Mr Bean was dull, now dont think i dislike Rowan Atkinson, but, I'll take Blackadder over this lame rehash of silent comedy anyday, watch any Harold Llyod or Buster Keaton silent short ( or feature film ) comedy then watch Bean and you'll see the diff between masters of silent comedy and a wannabe!

I started to watch that show on HBO long time ago.

I care less about the movie thou. It was not that funny.

I wished PBS will show BEAN.

Have u ever saw the cartoon version of BEAN?

I didn't care for the cartoon either.

 That sounds interesting, but you have a point, It'd be hilarious!

I LOVE Mr Bean. I have for a long time. Rowan Atkinson is so funny. I loved that episode where he tried to pass of his beloved teddy bear as a dog, in a dog show. It was brillliant, lol. He just does the stupidest things, and I think the fact that he doesnt use much dialogue is even funnier.

I hate watching it with my grandmother though, every time there is a close up of Rowan's face, she goes on about how unattractive he is! ;)

I loved watching Mr. Bean too. I great show. I used to watchit all the time when I was younger when it was still coming on tv. I actually have seen the cartoon a couple of times when that was coming on not to long ago on PBS. I think my favorite episode was the christmas one.

Mr. Bean is the best. I have the movie and my brother got me a t-shirt with Mr. Bean on it saying do you feel lucky punk. That show is just to funny my 2most favorite eps are the one where he goes to chruch and keeps falling asleep during the sermone, you know in my speech class we had to do a speech where we couldn't talk and of the the students did this ep as there speech it was really good to. And the other ep I like is when he is at the pool and he jumps off the diving board and looses his swimming trunks and the guy that cleans the pool snatches them and Mr. Bean has to run out of the pool area to go get them and as he is running out this group of girls come in to the pool area and they see him running around without his swimming trunks on that is just to funny. Rowen Atkins is a very good actor I even liked his other show The Thin Blue Line.

I WAS FORTUNATE ENUF TO BE INTRODUCED TO MR. BEAN THRU SOME FRIENDS ABOUT 18 YEARS AGO.

HE'S ONE OF A KIND, FOR SURE. I ALWAYS SAID I COULD MARRY SOMEONE LIKE HIM. ROWAN, THAT IS. LOOKS AREN'T EVERYTHING, BUT MAN, I'D BE IN STICHES:) MR. BEAN IS TOO SELFISH. ROWAN IS A GREAT VISUAL COMEDIAN!

WHEN MY FRIEND WENT TO ENGLAND A FEW YEARS BACK, GUESS WHAT SHE GOT ME? TEDDY! I STILL PLAY WITH HIM, AND TALK LIKE MR. BEAN WHEN I DO, WHEN I'M IN A SILLY MOOD.

I'VE ALSO GOTTEN MY SISTER, 13 Y/O & 4 Y/O NEICES HOOKED ON HIM AS WELL, AND JUST RENTED THE WHOLE MR. BEAN. WE'VE SEEN THE MOVIE SEVERAL TIMES, TOO. I CAN'T GET INTO THE BLACK ADDER, BUT DID ANYONE SEE HIM IN 4 WEDDINGS & A FUNERAL, THE RAT RACE, AND HIS LATEST, JOHNNY ENGLISH? IF YOU'RE A ROWAN OR MR. BEAN FAN, YOU HAVE TO SEE JOHNNY!

ONE OF THE VERY FIRST EP'S I CAN REMEMBER WATCHING THAT GOT ME HOOKED WAS WHEN HE WENT TO THE OCEAN TO SWIM, AND WAS TRYING TO GET HIS PANTS OFF. ALL OF THIS COMMOTION, AND IT TURNS OUT THE GUY WAS BLIND-GENIOUS.

ONE OF MY OTHER FAVORITE EP'S IS WHEN HE IS PACKING FOR VACATION, AND HE HAS TOO MANY ITEMS FOR HIS SMALL SUITCASE. SO, HE MAKES ALL THESE ALTERATIONS SO EVERYTHING FINALLY FITS, THEN HE PULLS OUT A BIGGER SUITCASE FROM UNDER THE BED-PRICELESS!!:

LONG LIVE THE BEAN:)

Yes, I do agree "Blackadder" was genius, but I have to say that as a mom of younger teen/preteen kids, I was happy to see "Mr. Bean's Holiday" was rated "G". Even cartoon movies these days so often get a PG, and my older daughter needs to see some British comedy that is not Monty Python (much as I also love that!).
