Please, is there anybody can help in remember more about a sitcom of the 80's. The tv film was from Britain. It was the ordinary story of the Abbott family and father was called Sid. It was very funny to me and I'd like to know more about it. If there's someone please mail me the title or the actors. Thank you.

The show is called 'Bless This House' and is actually from the 1970's.
The main star was Sid James who was famous as Tony Hancock's sidekick in the 1960's and then as a regular in the 'Carry on...' films in the 60's and 70's.
Sid James died on stage in Sunderland, England in 1976.
The other members of the Abbott family were played by Diana Coupland (wife Jean), Robin Stewart (son Mike) and Sally Geeson (daughter Sally).
I loved 'Bless This House'. It is still showing on the UK satellite channel Granada Plus.
