I noticed that local Chicago station Me-Tv now has both of Carroll O'Connor's best-known roles Archie Bunker on "All in the Family" and his softer, less-bigoted character Bill Gillespie on "In the of the Night."

Which do you think was Carroll O'Connor's best character role?

Lovable Bill Gillespie?

Well both men have their merits...with Bill having a colored girlfriend is kinda like hearing Archie say "The Jefferson's was right" in the AITF episode. That though is what made Carroll a good actor. Both men were incredibly wonderfully believeable.
