View Full Version : Roseanne Expire in september wezzyfan 01-22-2007, 01:25 PM i read on the tv land message board that Roseanne expire in september of this year i hope they keep it. TheLandfordLunchBox 01-23-2007, 01:08 AM What do you mean it will expire? Br26 01-23-2007, 02:07 AM As in..it won't be airing on Nick at Nite anymore. Which I really doubt; we're having a Roseanne marathon all this week. I think they're keeping it for a while to come. Chelsea 01-23-2007, 10:17 AM The previous contract probably does expire (it's now been on the network 4 years, and the vast majority of shows' contracts I've seen are for 4 years). However, with Roseanne having pretty much blockbuster ratings the entire time it's been on the network, they'll renew the contract, easily, if they haven't already. Jman4200 01-23-2007, 07:00 PM you know N@N will renew it, its a ratings bonanza for the network why do you think they cancelled the growing pains crap to show more Roseanne and now the people on the Growing Pains Board are mad and taking shots at Roseanne, so i've had to defend our beloved show, all the Growing Pains whiners can bite me. Scoobiedoo30 01-23-2007, 07:07 PM How long has Roseanne been on Nick@Nite An 80s Guy 01-23-2007, 07:27 PM It's been on since October 2003 I belive.I hope it does not get renewed.I like it but It's this close to getting complete on DVD.It's aired too much since it's been on Nick@Nite. Scoobiedoo30 01-23-2007, 07:43 PM if Roseanne does expire I wonder ifd Home Imporovement would get Roseanne Time Slot JuicyCoutureGirl 01-25-2007, 02:44 PM you know N@N will renew it, its a ratings bonanza for the network why do you think they cancelled the growing pains crap to show more Roseanne and now the people on the Growing Pains Board are mad and taking shots at Roseanne, so i've had to defend our beloved show, all the Growing Pains whiners can bite me.  Right On!!!!! JulieSomoski 01-25-2007, 04:23 PM Yeah, I wouldn't be so sure myself. I mean, the marathon could be a hint that they are renewing it, by trying to air the episodes as many times as possible in the contract, so they can renew it with a fresh start. But, Growing Pains is no doubt going to be a hit on NAN, and so is Home Improvement. And Home Improvement also comes in September, when Roseanne expires. And then, Family Matters is coming in early 2008, and that is going to be another success for the network. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't renew it. |
