It just came over the news that Bill Parcells is stepping down as coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Why don't i believe him?

Ex Bills coach Wade Phillips is apparently the front runner to take over.

Before Parcells came the Cowboys were awful. They had no idea what they were doing in the draft and the Coaches had no power at all. I hope they don't go back to that. I don't really care for Wade Phillips. He was a mediocre coach at best. He couldn't win with John Elway in Denver and the Bills regressed while he was coach.

Considering this is Jerry Jones we are talking about, you know who ever it is, it will be a BIG name.

I was hoping he'd stick around for one more year. Despite all the problems the Cowboys had last season, it was the best season they've had in a while.
