There doesn't seem to be any other info on the web but the site says that Conrad Bain died on Monday, January 16. Cause of death not listed and nothing in the press about it. He's a forgotten has been. He was 3 weeks shy of his 84th birthday. I figured somebody had to report this. Rest in peace Conrad Bain. I loved watching Diffrent Strokes when I was growing up and he played one of my favorite TV fathers.

I'll reserve my comments until I hear more about it. Wikipedia can at times be very wrong.

I did the same thing a while ago. No news about a death.

And no news is good news.

A search on Conrad Bain in Yahoo! News pulls up nothing.

You should be banned for starting such a STUPID ASS THREAD. Don't you think it would have been mentioned in the Media and NOT JUST wikipedia if he really died? You need serious MENTAL HELP

When Mike Evans died, didn't it come out days later that he passed? It could still be possible.

But why would wikipedia have the info and not any newspapers or TV networks?

I don't know, that is why I am hoping to hear something one way or the other.

Hey TVResearcher, there's no need for verbal abuse. If you take pleasure in doing so on the web then maybe you need the mental help and should be banned from the board. I hope the rumor about Conrad Bain isn't true but I don't deserve to be treated like a hoo hoo and neither does anybody else who posts.

You do deserved to be treated like a HOO HOO because you didn't have enough sense to realize that Wkipedia is a Site with lots of FALSE INFO. Don't you think it would have been on Entertainment Tonight and the NewsPapers and not just WIKIPEDIA?? Wikipedia doesn't even list the source of where they got the info that's on the site and you are taking that site seriously? You got to be kiddin me

Well I certainly wouldn't have posted it if I had gotten it from the National Enquirer. As Brain Damage posted, sometimes the press doesn't report such stuff right away.

It's not true and my suggestion is to stay away from Wikipedia
