Word has now come over the wire that Denny Doherty has passed away at 66 after a short illness. Now, with Denny, John and Mama Cass gone, that now leaves Michelle Phillips as the last of the Mamas and Papas. All condolences to Denny Doherty's family and pray for Michelle, too. All three of her bandmates are now gone, but at least she continues to act. I don't know what project she's currently working on, if any right now, but today, Michelle Phillips' musical side has taken a hit with the passing of her former bandmate, Denny Doherty, but she'll get through this with the support of her family and friends. Hopefully, we'll see Michelle before too long-her fans will think of her.

I had a record album of The Mamas & Papa's but I gave it to the Goodwill. Then I got it on cassette, which I still listen to. I loved their harmony, they
were such a good group. Wonder if Michelle still sings and acts?

She was on one of the PBS shows celebrating the 60s music,at the end she sang California dreaming with denny,this is i would say 2 to 3yrs ago maybe...BTW i was shocked to hear of his death
