Does anyone know when the show will come back on? Don't you hate it when
the shows go on a break for months at a time? I know I do. I'm waiting for
Lost, Jericho, Prison Break, and The King of Queens to reappear. Did I leave
any out?

It won't be in 2008 that's for sure. Doesn't surprise me, it was getting pretty unrealistic.

I liked the show. We really don't know how things would work out if nuclear bombs were dropped on the USA. And I hope we never see it, but the show could be more realistic than you think. Its too bad it won't be back on.

I liked it at the beginning alright, but it just wasn't what would happen after nuclear bombs were dropped. I mean, the story line is pausable, but they never had a "nuclear winter". That many bombs would produce a dust that would darken not only the U.S., but probably North America. Vegetation and animals would suffer. There would be radioactive rainfall, yet each episode it would be bright and sunny and look just fine. Their water supply would be heavily contaminated.

Maybe I expect too much in my t.v. shows and movies, but I found those errors just too distracting from the plot line. I just thought they would show more of the actual fallout from bombs than just produce what basically came down to a soap opera. That's why I can see the ratings falling off so much.

I agree, alot of things were off the mark. Showing exactly how things would have been would have made for too much doom & gloom though. It was still a pretty good show, wish it had done better in the ratings.

 Funny you'd mention that. When they played the promo clips about it before it began, I turned to my husband and said, "This one outta be real uplifting!"

I know what you mean, plus the cost of producing something that realistic would be astronomical, but I'm one of those, 'if you're going to do something, do it right' (annoying) people.

I do hope to see some of the actors (like Skeet) in other shows. They're good actors, it was just the plot. Plus, maybe it's me, but I found following the numerous characters a little confusing.

Let's just hope it never happens in real life. Even though I'm not American, it really bothered me seeing the American flag horsed with so the stripes were vertical. It sent chills through me.

Yeah that flag was a pretty scarey touch. Now we're left wondering how everything turned out. I wish they could do some kind of follow up on it. Oh well thats tv for you!
